Battle Of The Bands!

As part of our fundraising drive for the new hall we are holding a "Battle of the Bands" competition on Saturday 22nd September at Mersham Village Hall. Doors open at 7pm There are currently 3 fantastic local rock bands including D-finitive, Tremors and Honest Lies and there still could be more so this will be a high quality event suitable for teenagers and octagenerians alike. There will also be a BBQ and a cash bar. It will be a great evening so please come along and bring family and friends as well.

The best way to secure tickets (£6 adults, £4 under 18's) is to email me at fundraising@1stkenningtonscouts.org.uk or mike.munroe@btopenworld.com with your requirements. There will be limited sales of tickets on the door so book early!

Please also note that we intend to hold our second fundraising committee meeting in the scout hut on Thursday 13th September at 8pm. If you would like to help please come along (meeting will be about 1 hour) because we have a huge challenge ahead of us to raise the money needed to build the new hall. Please remember if we cannot build a new hall then 1st Kennington Scouts might have to close down!
